The reason it’s so good is that you can connect with the business owners directly without having to go through gatekeepers as you would when cold calling or sending direct mail. First off I must say that this is very comprehensive course, basically holding your hand and taking you through all the steps necessary to start your very own SEO business. Even if you plan to do something other than SEO there are many things taught here that will apply to other types of ventures.
Depending on where you are in the world, the chances are that there is a large online classified site that serves your country. Some examples being Craigslist (US), Gumtree (UK, AU, NZ) and Kijiji (CA). These sites are free to post on and receive a lot of daily traffic.
According to the 2015 Form Conversion Report by Formstack, only about 1% of small contact forms (about 4 fields) get filled out on websites. Note: This clause shouldn’t be mandatory. Let your customers remove it if they want. However, many won’t care. You can also use it as leverage. If you’re having a ton of success with a client, offer free or discounted services if you can add your link to their site.
The one thing to keep in mind is that my agency actually provided results. From getting companies to rank in the top three results for terms like “credit cards” and “life insurance” to helping boost their sales, we provided a positive return on investment. If you do everything I mentioned above but fail to provide results as an SEO agency, you won’t be in business for long.
All in all, I do agree that all what you write about applies to any person who is funded to run a company (may be that is why you already introduced that you are kind of a big deal). But for non-funded bloggers and marketers from developing states and companies, wait for sometime before you take all this information from Neil. Otherwise, you will not celebrate the first birthday of your Domain name.
If you do some research, you can find so many website owners ready to provide a guest post link on their blog in just $5. There are many others who can provide manual social bookmark links or other quality links for $5.
Clients only care about results. You can provide all the reports on all the great services you provided, but if they are not getting new customers then it is only a matter of time before they leave you.
