We all want to become our own bosses right from the start, but truth is that you need to work somewhere for at least one year. And not necessarily because you gather knowledge, but because you gain an insight view into a business. You see how things work, you get to go to various conferences on this topic, know people from the field and so on. All this is going to be really useful when you will start your own company.
Seriously, I’ve never thought of starting an SEO firm. I actually have a clue of how difficult SEO is to do effectively. Good SEOs are hard enough to find, and WordStream seems to be a nice place to meet some of them.
What’s so good about this is that your only real responsibility in this ongoing transaction is answering any questions the client may have from month to month, emailing out the monthly reports (which the SEO reseller company will create for you) and dealing with invoicing and payments every month.
PageSpeed Insights – With PageSpeed Insights, Google analyzes how fast your webpage is and will provide suggestions you can implement to improve the speed with which it loads on both desktops and mobile devices. Perhaps the best piece of advice is to dive in. A lot about running your own business isn’t knowable until you do it. so if one of your new years resolutions was to quit the day job and strike out on your own, then go for it!
Cathie, sounds like you have a great problem to have. I would say reaching out to other industry leaders to see what works and what doesn’t. More often than not you can find this information on their website or blog.

Even a query as broad as [tacos] will trigger local results, as search engines assume the user is quite likely hungry and seeking food:
